"Marais des Bris"
The park is located between the Point of Manson and the beach of Gatseau in Saint-Trojan-les-Bains. This former marsh is remarkable for its flora, especially the orchids, as well as for the variety of birds that have found refuge there.
A farm was installed in the "Parc du Marais des Bris" in the middle of the nineteenth century and has been operated for nearly a hundred years.
The visit to the park is free and guided tours are also available. The "Parc du Marais des Bris" is separated from the ocean by the Pacaud dam which was built in the late nineteenth century.
